I was playing on my elementalist today and thought of using Sliver Armor + Mark of Pain. It could work for boss farming(Getting right next to them and using MoP+Sliver). Also, maybe being a Ranger and using Whirling Defense + MoP? I dunno, just some ideas. Haven't played in a while and thought it might be a good idea, but I can't think of fullout builds right now. Post ideas.

MoP only triggers on physical damage so silver and/or whirling won't trigger it.

I think whirling does trigger MoP, but im pretty sure Sliver doesnt.

Whirling is piercing damage (i.e. physical damage), so it does trigger MoP

I was wrong...says whirling does trigger it...no clue on where it might be useful..(having need for projectile attacks and no spells) unless doing duo farm maybe

That is pretty similiar to the old grawl bombing build that a lot used back in 2005 just add in EoE prenerf and you would have it.
